Square Enix announced that the People Can Fly-developed co-op shooter Outriders, will receive a free demo on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC-via Steam and GeForce Now.
The demo will include around 3 hours of gameplay allowing players to create multiple characters and try all four classes available: Devastator, Pyromancer, Technomancer, and Trickster. The demo will cover the entire opening chapter.
The demo will release on February 25 at 9 am PST and will be free across all platforms.
Outriders is an RPG shooter set in a sci-fi universe. Players will need to create their own character known as “Outrider” to embark on a journey across a hostile planet. The story takes players through a diverse world where they’ll find themselves exploring slums, forest areas, and mountain ranges in pursuit of a mysterious signal. However, during their travels, they will meet intense combat situations and powerful enemies.
Outriders will utilize the Nvidia DLSS, which is a deep learning super sampling that utilizes AI technology and learning to create an image that appears to be of a higher-resolution image, without the rendering overhead. Pretty, much, games running at 1440p can appear to run at 4K, and games running at 1080p could look like they are running at 1440p.
Outriders is coming to PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC on April 1, 2021.
