Outer Wilds: Archaeologist Edition Launching for Switch December 2023; Physical 2024

During the November 2023 Nintendo Indie World Showcase, Annapurna Interactive and Mobius Digital announced Outer Wilds: Archaeologist Edition, a Nintendo Switch port of the title that will launch on December 7, 2023.

Further, digital pre-orders are available today via the Switch eShop, and a physical release is planned for 2024.

Outer Wilds is a hit FPS action RPG where players find themselves stuck within a solar system shrouded by an ongoing time loop. This title was praised so heavily, in fact, that it received several awards, such as the Seamus McNally Grand Prize and Excellence in Design award in the 2015 Independent Games Festival. Additionally, during the British Academy Gaming Awards in 2020, it won the Best Game, Game Design, and Original Property awards.
