Isekai Visual Novel ‘Our Battle Has Just Begun! Episode 1’ Gets July Release on Switch and PC With English Support

Vridge announced that their romance visual novel Our Battle Has Just Begun! Episode 1 will launch on Nintendo Switch and PC-via Steam on July 14, 2021.

Our Battle Has Just Begun! Episode 1 features a protagonist who has just been reborn into a fantasy world that has already been cleared. The theme of the isekai narrative has the player reborn just seconds before the last boss was destroyed without any memory of your adventure or strength. However, people around you confirm you’re the hero so you just go along with it.

As the hero who bested the Demon Lord, you get to enjoy the many routes of romance that unfold with the heroines you meet. Players will make choices during the dialogue that serve as a way to lead them to danger or to love. The comical narrative is mostly about an average guy who becomes a hero by not actually doing anything. Each episode of the game offers a new heroine to meet.

There are four heroines in the game, Lutie, Hilda, Carol, and Ibis who each have their own personalities and reasons for liking the protagonist. However, I wouldn’t expect a deeply compelling narrative as the themes are exceptionally light-hearted.

More episodes are planned to complete the story.
