Otome Visual Novel ‘Jack Jeanne’ Reveals Opening Ahead of Launch Next Week

Publisher Aksys Games has just released the launch trailer for the upcoming western release of the Broccoli-developed otome game Jack Jeanne, ahead of its June 15th, 2023 release. The trailer showcases the opening cinematic with the opening song Jack & Jeanne of Quartz, and also introduces the four classes from Univeil. While this is the exact same opening that was revealed a year ago when they first announced the acquisition, it’s crazy that we have gone from waiting a whole year to just one more week.

In Jack Jeanne, aspiring actress Kisa is given a chance to attend the famous Univeil Drama School, an elite drama school for male actors, where students play female roles (referred to as “Jeanne” roles) in addition to male roles (referred to as “Jack” roles). However, to maintain her enrollment, she must land a starring role in the school’s play at the end of the year, and hide the fact that she’s a female. These will undoubtedly be challenging tasks, but maybe Kisa will learn more about herself and those she befriends during this time of profound internal strife.

Jack Jeanne will come exclusively to Nintendo Switch on June 15, 2023. Pre-orders are now available for North America and Europe via the publisher’s online shop.
