The Original Nexomon Coming to Consoles for the First Time

PQube announced that the Vewo Interactive-developed monster-collecting RPG Nexomon will launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch soon.

The game was initially released on PC-via Steam and iOS and acts as a prequel to Nexomon: Extinction, released last year.

This adventure features a new narrative to explore with the choice of 7 Nexomon starter creatures. There are over 300 creatures to collect as players fight towards taking down the NexoLord. Gameplay revolves around exploration and battles as players build their party of Nexomon. Each Nexomon has a unique skill and ability for battles that take place in a 2D battle system. There a nine elemental types with strengths and weaknesses that players will need to learn.

Exploration allows players to journey through dungeons and towns as they take on new quests and meet characters to help them on their journey. The environments also change, which affects the encountered Nexomon around. This is the first time this version of the game will be released on console.
