Orbitals developer Shapefarm and publisher Kepler Interactive have revealed that Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam singer Mami Ayukawa is performing the opening and ending themes for the upcoming anime-inspired co-op adventure, which launches September 3. Ayukawa is known for performing themes tied to classic 1980s sci-fi anime, including Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam. For Orbitals, she performs the opening theme, “~Accelerating Destiny~ (加速する運命),” and the ending theme, “Heart To Heart.” The opening song is available digitally starting today.
A 7-inch vinyl featuring both songs is also available to pre-order through Laced Records. The release includes karaoke versions of both tracks on the B-side and is scheduled to arrive later in 2026. The full Orbitals original soundtrack will release digitally on September 3 alongside the game.
Ayukawa said she poured the “soul and love” she has carried through her music since the 1980s into the theme. Shapefarm Audio Director Christian Wellbo also pointed to her earlier anime work as part of the musical inspiration behind the project.
A new official music video for “~Accelerating Destiny~ (加速する運命)” was released alongside the soundtrack announcement.
