Capcom has announced that Onimusha: Way of the Sword will feature “Issen,” a new song by Japanese rock band MAN WITH A MISSION, as its official promotional song. A new promotional video of the song has also been released.
“Issen” was written specifically around the setting and themes of Onimusha. Its title shares its name with the series’ signature Issen counterattack mechanic, which rewards precisely timed attacks against enemies.
Capcom also revealed a new collaboration illustration featuring protagonist Miyamoto Musashi alongside the members of MAN WITH A MISSION. The band is known for performing while wearing wolf masks and has contributed music to numerous anime and game-related projects.
Onimusha: Way of the Sword will be released on September 4, 2026, for Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
