One Piece World Seeker Gets 5-Minute Gameplay Trailer Showing Release Date

Bandai Namco released a new trailer for their upcoming action-adventure One Piece World Seeker, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC-via Steam on March 15, 2019.

The trailer hosts plenty of gameplay that shows Luffy in and out of battle. During the game, players will be able to fight against hordes of enemies using Luffy’s skills including his signature Gum Gum abilities. Players will also be able to access his 4th Gear from Bound Man as well as explore Prison Island, which will have an exclusive side mission for those who pre-order the game.

Additionally, the publisher will release a limited edition for fans to pre-order for PS4 and Xbox One for $129.99. This “Gum Gum” bundle will include a Luffy and Devil Fruit figure. The page for this edition, at the time of writing this, has not gone live and we will update when it does.

One Piece World Seeker stars series main protagonist Monkey D. Luffy as he explores set piece straight from the anime and manga series. The game features side missions, customization materials, fighting, and the story surrounding Luffy’s quest to be the greatest pirate.

Author’s take: Wow, this game looks like everything I’ve wanted for a Luffy game. We’ve come along way since the Warriors One Piece Games. I’m glad to see One Piece getting this attention, I hope the devs can make this world exciting for fans who have been waiting for a game like this. Looks like they’re on the right track.
