One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 Announces Yamato & Kaido DLC Characters

Bandai Namco and Omega Force have announced that Kaido and Yamato will join One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 as DLC characters later this month. The two characters will launch alongside the previously announced Onigashima Battle Luffy for the “The Battle of Onigashima Pack.”

There are also three DLC episodes on the way, which will be able to be purchased collectively or individually. Players will adventure with Yamato throughout the first episode, gaining new abilities and more. There are currently no planned release dates for this content.

In One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4, players will join Luffy and the rest of the Sanji Retrieval team as they fight their way through Whole Cake Island in order to save Sanji from a political marriage arranged by Big Mon. The game covers multiple arcs and features a handful of play characters who are new to the series.

Additionally, players will be able to use the newly added “Titan Mode.” Here, enemies will become large, which forces the players to be a bit more strategic with their attacks and dodges. Changing up the playstyle of these titles is always a welcome addition.
