One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 Revealing New DLC Characters This Week; Over 3 Years Since Release

Bandai Namco and Omega Force have announced that new DLC characters will be revealed for their muosu title, One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4, on July 22, 2023, via the One Piece Day 2 broadcast.

This DLC is rather significant since the game was initially released in March 2020. I’m not caught up with One Piece at all, but it’s safe to think that newer characters from the manga and anime may join the roster.

In One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4, players will join Luffy and the rest of the Sanji Retrieval team as they fight their way through Whole Cake Island in order to save Sanji from a political marriage arranged by Big Mon. The game covers multiple arcs and features a handful of play characters who are new to the series.

Additionally, players will be able to use the newly added “Titan Mode”. Here, enemies will become large, which forces the players to be a bit more strategic with their attacks and dodges. Changing up the playstyle of these titles is always a welcome addition.
