One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 Reveals Charlotte Katakuri and Luffy Fourth Gear Snakeman in New Screenshots

Bandai Namco announced new characters for One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4, coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC in 2020.

As players set sail to Whole Cake Island, they’ll be able to meet Charlotte Katakuri, the second son of the Charlotte Family and one of the Three Sweet Commanders of the Big Mom Pirates. Katakuri is considered to be the strongest of the commanders and has the power to flick jellybeans at the speed and power of bullets. Evidently, only the power of Luffy Fourth Gear Snakeman can stop Katakuri, but that might not even be enough.

In One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4, players will join Luffy and the rest of the Sanji Retrieval team as they fight their way through Whole Cake Island in order to save Sanji from a political marriage arranged by Big Mon.

Additionally, players will be able to use the newly added “Titan Mode”. Here, enemies will become large, which forces the players to be a bit more strategical with their attacks and dodges. Changing up the playstyle of these titles is always a welcome addition.

One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 is a Musou style game where players will control the characters from One Piece and take them into battle. The game features all the iconic skills and abilities of these unique characters as players will need them to mow down countless enemies. Additionally, the game will feature fan-favorite moments of one of the zaniest arcs yet.
