Sekai Project announced they will publish the Blissful Work’s-developed romance visual novel One Last Crane on PC via Steam on July 4, 2022.
One Last Crane was part of a Kickstarter project that was fully funded by the backers. The game follows Yuuki Murakami, a boy who suffers from a brain tumor. After treatment fails him, Yuuki decides that his final wish is to return to his hometown and fulfill his promise to his childhood friend, Saki Nishimura.
Sadly, Saki’s location is a mystery, and all Yuuki knows is that she wants to attend a specific high school, Shimizu High School. So, paired with his sister, Mary, and neighbor, Chihiro, the group sets off to search for the girl but ends up meeting Asuka Fujimoto, a girl who simply looks like Saki.
It looks like Yuuki will need to figure out if this girl really is Saki and why she’s giving him the cold shoulder. His life could end at any moment, so time is of the essence.
One Last Crane is a story of friendship and romance but does attempt to play on the reader’s emotional side.
We’ll be sure to keep you updated on the release of One Last Crane in the west.
