Horror Fighting Game ‘Omen of Sorrow’ Gets Xbox One Release Date With More Platforms on the Way

Eastasiasoft announced that the AoneGames-developed horror-themed fighter Omen of Sorrow will launch on Xbox One on September 15, 2021. The publisher also confirmed that there are plans to bring the title to other platforms as well, beginning with the Steam release.

Omen of Sorrow was previously released on PlayStation 4 and features a 4-button fighting layout with a roster of monsters from classic horror and literature. The game is being developed with Unreal Engine 4 and has a 2.5D cinematic style.

Further, this updated release will include a downloadable character, Erzsébet, who has a dragon partner by her side.

Omen of Sorrow is set in a world ruled by creatures and monsters. The game takes inspiration from arcade fighters and provides a mature aesthetic through graphics and design. Players can play as various monsters across its roster, but it is a rather straightforward fighter.

The publisher has also shared a trailer for the game showing it running on Xbox One. It doesn’t seem like any graphical updates have been added outside of the extra character.
