Omega Rugal Invades King of Fighters XV– For Free!

SNK has announced that King of Fighters XV will be receiving Omega Rugal, the oft-banned, controller-breaker himself, as a free character next month. He joins the cast not as a Team member like the Season Pass characters, but as a free solo character.

As you can see in the trailer below, Rugal is back in all his infuriating glory. As of April 14th, players will be able to download Omega Rugal for free, alongside the new game mode, Boss Challenge. This mode has players battle a CPU Rugal that takes no prisoners, as even the trailer references Rugal’s long-standing reputation as a nigh unbeatable boss.
