Okami and Sengoku Basara Join Teppen in Latest Expansion Today With New Cards, Abilities, Tribes and Skins

The latest expansion of Teppen, “The Tale of Amatsu no Kuni” has launched today featuring the Okami and Sengoku Basara franchises.

Characters from both the Okami and Sengoku Basara franchises appear along with Amaterasu, the protagonist of Okami, being featured as the latest hero. The Wood Sprite Sakuya, Sun Goddess Amaterasu, Divine Spear Yukimura, and Oshu Lord Date Masamune characters are also being featured. The two new tribes, Kami and Spirit, are also being introduced amongst these cards along with the new ability Crush. Crush deals high damage, while avoiding damage from any potential counters.

The new Red Hero, Amatersau, has three abilities. The first of which is Great Divine Intervention which heals 2 HP for all friendly units, and deals 3 damage to all opposing ones. Secondly, Thunder Edge grants an agility and attack buff to a friendly unit and lastly, Celestial Envoy’s Miracle grants 1 attack to all red, friendly unites.

The premise of “The Tale of Amatsu no Kuni” expansion is that Orochi and Nobunaga Oda return to and invade the land of Amatsu no Kuni. A wood sprite prays for aid, and Amaterasu herself answers the call whilst summoning worthy heroes to aid her cause.
