Oddworld Inhabitants announced that Oddworld: Soulstorm Enhanced Edition will release on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC-via Epic Games Store on November 30, 2021.
Oddworld: Soulstorm Enhanced Edition will act as the accumulation of updates to the game since its initial launch. Players have encountered bugs and glitches, which affected their experience, but that’s supposed to change now.
Further, those who own the game on PS4, PS5, or PC can upgrade for free. Players will find exclusive new content in whichever version they play, Vykkers Labs (Xbox) and Toby’s Escape (PS/EGS).
Oddworld: Soulstorm Enhanced Edition is an accumulation of updates added since the game’s launch on PS4/PS5 earlier this year It also adds new motion code and additional content to the first game. There’s a physical version available on Xbox One and Series X that contains, an exclusive embossed metal case, 9” Abe figurine, 160-page art book, three art prints, a mining company keychain, tattoo, and tribal stickers.
Oddworld: Soulstorm Enhanced Edition features 15 levels with two additional unlockable levels at the end of the game. You can acquire 4 types of endings depending on your Quarma score, which is based on the number of Mudokons you save.
Oddworld: Soulstorm picks up after the events of Abe’s Oddysee when Abe has defeated Mollusk the Glukkon, his former boss at RuptureFarms. He freed many of his colleagues and friends from the evil place along the way, but that isn’t the end of his journey.
In Oddworld: Soulstorm Abe, along with 300 newly emancipated Mudokons, must learn to survive, and food shortage is getting low as they look for a place to call home. However, this leads them to a new brew that brings environmentalism, capitalism, consumerism, and addiction.
