Octopath Traveler II Reveals Best Buy-Exclusive Steelbook
Retailer Best Buy has announced that purchases of the upcoming Square Enix-developed turn-based JRPG, Octopath Traveler II, will include a Steelbook for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 5.
Like most Steelbooks, this one is boasted to be of a $9.99 value, with a plastic core and front and back metal pieces for enhanced durability. A single disc can be stored within.
Further, the PlayStation and Switch versions of the item slightly differ in size. Thanks to Wario64 for noticing this point.
Octopath Traveler II is releasing for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam on February 24, 2023.
This new standalone sequel in the series will add new mechanics, such as a full day/night cycle, with the characters’ path actions differing depending on the time of day. Additionally, unlike the first game, the cast of this entry is promised to interact more, with the “Crossed Paths” stories incorporating two protagonists.
