Octopath Traveler is Available Now on Steam Bringing the HD-2D Adventure to a New Platform

Square Enix has officially launched Octopath Traveler on PC-via Steam and is available for fans to purchase now.

After releasing on in July 2018 on Nintendo Switch, Octopath Traveler brings its HD-2D visuals to PC players to give a whole new platform of players the chance to experience this title. Octopath Traveler features eight characters who each have their own personal stories to tell and quests to go on. Each journey is self-contained and full of self-discovery. Players will experience stories of revenge, friendship, and various themes as each of their worlds connect throughout their adventure.

The PC version of the game will include English and Japanese audio along with support for English, French, Italian, German, Spanish, Japanese, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese text.

The game had a very successful launch when it initially released on the Nintendo Switch as it received critical acclaim, massive sales, a ton of love from veteran and new JRPG fans, and it’s even getting a mobile spin-off game. Since all of us at Noisy Pixel are massive JRPG fans, we unsurprisingly absolutely enjoyed Octopath Traveler on the Switch, so we’re happy that more folks will be able to play the game via Steam.

Octopath Traveler is also available on Nintendo Switch.
