Square Enix has shared new artwork celebrating the seventh anniversary of the Team Asano turn-based RPG Octopath Traveler.
This new illustration by Yukihiro Kajimoto depicts Therion, Primrose, Cyrus, and H’aanit. Interestingly, the posing of this artwork directly references the key art of the original Bravely Default, with Airy tying a knot in this reference.

Throughout this ambitious sequel, players control eight main characters who all face their own unique plights in different parts of Solistia. Further, they all boast unique Jobs, abilities, and even specific stories where duos of the cast interact with each other far more.
This feature was implemented in response to feedback from the initial entry. Regarding gameplay specifics, every party member now has two Path Actions, which change depending on the time of day, adding further character variety and strategy to consider when on the road and in towns.
Octopath Traveler II is available on PlayStation 4, Xbox, Switch, and PC.
