Observer: System Redux Will be a Launch Title for Xbox Series X and PS5

Bloober Team announced that Observer: System Redux, the next-gen version of 2017’s single-player psychological horror Observe, will launch on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X on November 12 and November 10, respectively, for $29.99.

“Making Observer: System Redux available for next-gen console players has been a huge focus for the team,” said Piotr Babineo, Bloober Team CEO. “Now that both the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5 release dates are out there, we can finally share our release date news. We know next-gen pricing is a major concern for our fans and we feel that releasing all the new content and upgrades in Observer: System Redux at the same cost as the original Observer is a great way to stay close with our community.”

Observer: System Redux is a remastered release that features some new story events that aim to take players deeper into the nightmare. A trailer was released that shows the game’s updated visuals with the character voiced by Rutger Hauer in one of his last acting roles. The game also features Polish musician and actor Arkadiusz Jakubik as Janus Jukowsk, a veteran struggling with early model cybernetics.

Observer: System Redux is set in the year 2084 as the world is grimmer than anyone could have imagined. Following a digital plague known as Nanphage, which killed thousands of people who chose to augment their minds, and a war that left corporations in control of the region, you find yourself in the middle of it all. During gameplay, you take no role as a detective who can hack into suspects’ minds and expose their fears and dreams as you gather information for your investigation.

Observer is available now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
