Qruppo-Developed Eroge ‘Nukitashi’ Getting English Release by Shiravune in 2023

Publisher Shiravune has announced the English release of Nukitashi. Its full name in Japan is “Nukige Mitai na Shima ni Sunderu Watashi wa Dou Surya Ii Desu ka?” and it was developed by Qruppo, who are also known for Hentai Prison. This visual novel will be available on PC via Steam and Johren in 2023, though Shiravune hasn’t disclosed a specific release date yet.

While the name mentions nukige, which is a general term for sex-oriented games, Qruppo’s titles are known for offering unique takes on the genre. Nukitashi was released in Japan back in 2018, and it was written by Kamichika Yuu and Kurahone Naoto. The director was LowLevel. All of them were also involved in Hentai Prison afterward.

Nukitashi tells the story of a resistance group of anti-copulation fighters called No Love No Sex. As Pervert Law and its sex-crazed proponents rule over Seiran Island, it’s all up to them to fight back. This humorous, weird story won the best scenario prize in the annual Moe Game Awards back in 2018. Qruppo became quickly famous and highly-acclaimed in Japan due to this crazy story, and this release has been highly anticipated.
