Shoreline Games and Lightbulb Crew have announced that their turn-based strategy game with dating sim and visual novel elements, Nova Hearts, is now available on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, Xbox, and PC via Steam for $24.99. The lattermost platform users can take advantage of a 15% discount across two weeks.

The companies have also teamed up with Boyfriend Dungeon for the Boyfriend Dungeon x Nova Hearts: Hearts in a Dungeon bundle on Steam for two weeks, starting from launch day.

Nova Hearts follows a group of heroes on an adventure to defend their home, with the journey inspired by classic superhero heroes such as Sailor Moon. The protagonist, Luce, returns to her hometown of Vermillion for the Summer to escape her past, but a cosmic force empowers her and her friends.

Prospective players can also anticipate various love interests in a visual novel context where their decisions shape character relationships.

Brittany Skerritt, Director of Community Giving, said the following:

We are so grateful to Shoreline Games for choosing to support Rainbow Railroad through Nova Hearts and the awareness campaign surrounding the game’s release.

As asylum protections continue to erode around the world, our work faces increasing challenges. Through supporting the Nova Hearts campaign, you will be helping us respond to the requests for help we are receiving from LGBTQI+ individuals and expand our capacity to support grassroots partners doing critical work.

Keith Kawamura, CEO and Co-founder at Shoreline Games, said the following:

We fell in love with Nova Hearts for its charm, unique blend of gameplay and visual aesthetics which has some of the best-looking designs out there.

So, we would love to share this whole experience and magic of Nova Hearts with as many people as possible; and then to do a little good out there in collaboration with Lightbulb Crew as well is just icing on the cake for us.

Anders Larsson, CEO of Lightbulb Crew, said the following:

The whole team at Lightbulb Crew is super excited to share Nova Hearts with the world. We have lived for years in Luce’s world of relationships and being a superhero. Now we are looking forward to getting it into the hands of players!
