No Rest for the Wicked, developed by Moon Studios and published by Private Division, is set to receive an in-depth look on March 1, 2024, as per an announcement post on X (formerly Twitter). Moon Studios, developer of Ori and the Blind Forest and Ori and the Will of the Wisps, takes a step away from Ori towards the action RPG of No Rest for the Wicked.

Players will take on the role of a Cerim, a holy warrior with powers sworn to defeat the Pestilence, an unholy plague. This quest is expected to be challenging as political and sociopolitical struggles also plagued the land.

The title is self-described as being set to reinvent the genre, and has a number of intriguing features. These include brutal, precision-based combat, an epic saga, a hand-crafted world, a customizable town, and online multiplayer.

The online multiplayer portion features co-op with up to three others with whom to go through the campaign together. Quests, bosses, etc are shared, but players are not forced to remain together either.

No Rest for the Wicked will be released on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The title is expected to come to Steam Early Access in Q2 2024 after a recent, brief delay.
