No More Robots Partners with Sold Out for Descenders Physical Release
Sold Out and No More Robots have announced a partnership to release a physical edition of their procedurally generated mountain biking title, Descenders for the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in the Spring of 2020.
No More Robots, who have previously handled the digital publishing for Descenders, made the partnership with Sold Out to fulfill a physical release for fans that wanted it. “Our players have been begging us for a physical release for a while now,” said Mike Rose, Company Director of No More Robots. “So getting to work with Sold Out on a worldwide retail release is essentially fulfilling a long-standing dream for all of us.” Sold Out has previously worked on physical releases before, working with developers like Team17, Rebellion and more.
Descenders is a fast-paced downhill biking game developed RageSquid. The game sets players on procedurally generated tracks with different jumps, slopes, and hill bombs. Boasting an in-depth physics system that enables subtle control over the bikers. The objective of the races is to gain points and reputation for the team you pick and make it on the leaderboards.
Descenders is currently available digitally on Xbox One, Windows and Mac. The digital versions for PS4 and Switch will release day and date with the physical editions.
