Grasshopper Manufacture announced that No More Heroes III will launch exclusively to Nintendo Switch in 2020.
No More Heroes III is a brand new entry in the series and takes place 10 years after the original No More Heroes. The game follows series protagonist Trave Touchdown as he returns to his home of Santa Destroy to deal with some business. While there, he encounters a huge artificial metropolis floating in the sear, just his luck, as well as a mysterious flying object above the city.
”After the Nintendo Switch unveiling conference in 2017, we released Travis Strikes Again this year, and now we are finally able to make the dream of No More Heroes III a reality,” says director Goichi Suda, or Suda51. “We’re working hard on development day in and day out to ensure that NMHIII goes above and beyond the expectations of all the fans who have been waiting for the game for so long, and we’re going to be rolling it out in 2020. May the Switch be with you!”
Robin Atkin Downes and Paula Tiso will be returning to reprise their role as Travis Touchdown and Sylvia Christel.
Fans can get a preview of the gameplay from the reveal trailer shown during Nintendo’s E3 Direct, which you can view below:
