NIS America Fall eShop Sale Discounts Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana, Trails of Cold Steel III, Caligula Effect: Overdose, and More

Publisher NIS America is currently hosting a Fall Sale on the Nintendo Switch eShop, primarily consisting of cult-classic JRPGs and other niche titles.

Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana is currently discounted to $19.99, making this fan-favorite entry in the action JRPG series a steal. While this port has been contentious since its launch for a myriad of performance-related bugs, the majority of those faults have been addressed. This title is also a magnificent entry point for those unfamiliar with the series.

The Caligula Effect: Overdose is discounted to $19.99. This title is the predecessor to the recently localized The Caligula Effect 2, and while not as beloved as its sequel, it sports a standout premise and fantastic soundtrack.

The Silver Case 2425 is discounted to $29.99. This release includes both The Silver Case and The 25th Ward: The Silver Case. If you know nothing about these games, perhaps hearing that Suda51 worked on them would pique your curiosity?

During The Silver Case, players find themselves investigating a series of murders that are somehow tied to a known killer in prison. Players have to investigate crime scenes and interrogate possible suspects as they get closer to the truth. You can experience the game from multiple perspectives as you connect the pieces of this murder.

In The 25th Ward: The Silver Case builds on the first entry mechanics with more adventure elements. Players will have more ways to interact with the environment and other characters. The gameplay involves a few added puzzle layers and requires players to pay attention to dialogue to progress through the gameplay.
