Nioh Franchise Celebrates 6 Million Units Sold Worldwide with Stunning PC and Mobile Wallpapers

The official Team Ninja Twitter account has announced that their hit action series, Nioh, has sold over 6 million copies worldwide. To commemorate this noteworthy achievement, the developer has shared a gorgeous wallpaper, one for mobile devices and one for PC.

Congratulations to Team Ninja for achieving this incredible milestone, and here’s to future success with this hardcore yet addicting action series.

Nioh 2 alone sold over 2 million copies worldwide earlier this April and continues to perform quite strongly. Nioh: The Complete Edition is also currently free on PC via the Epic Games Store for those who have been yearning to give the critically acclaimed game a shot. This is a steal of a deal, so better grab it while it’s available.

If you missed it, check out our review of Nioh 2’s PC port and how it is the definitive version.

Nioh 2 launched in March 2020 on PS4 before releasing an updated version on PS5 and PC in February 2021. The series together have sold over 5 million copies, including sales of 2017’s Nioh. The game is a high fantasy action title that requires players to use skill to overcome the many powerful enemies that await them. Its high level of difficulty doesn’t seem to be holding it back from reaching a wide audience of gamers.

Nioh 2 is currently available on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store.
