Nioh 2 Gets New Screenshots and Story Details

Koei Tecmo shared new screenshots for the Team Ninja developed action-adventure Nioh 2, coming to PlayStation 4.

In a PlayStation Blog post, the publisher shared the keyart for the game of the new protagonist. It was revealed that the character is a half-breed, part human and Yokai, which gives him unbelievable power. Through his journey, players will travel across Sengoku period Japan as they find themselves deep inside the Dark Realm of the Yokai.

Additionally,  the developer shared that over 50,000 players took part in the closed demo in May/June and nearly 18,000 participants shared feedback in a survey. The opinions from the players allowed the team to address crucial features in developed and create a better experience because of it.

However, that’s not all, there will be a consumer demo available at the Tokyo Game Show 2019 in September, with more information about the demo coming soon.

In order to hold fans off, the team released five new screenshots that show this new protagonist is action against some pretty scary enemies. You can also see the transformation that the character can go through as they change from human to demon form during battle.
