Nioh 2 Gets Release Date and New Gameplay Trailer Ahead of Open Beta
Sony Interactive Entertainment shared a new trailer for the Team Ninja developed action title Nioh 2, coming to PlayStation 4 on March 13, 2020.
The trailer gives a length preview of the game’s enemies, environments, and characters that they’ll encounter in this new title. Furthermore, the trailer shows how players will be able to transform into a beast and unleash powerful attacks.
More importantly, the trailer confirmed the game’s Open Beta dates scheduled for November 1 through November 10. During that time, players will be able to experience a small section of the game as they test out the systems and features and provide feedback to the developers.
Nioh 2’s protagonist is a half-breed, part human and Yokai, which gives him unbelievable power. Through his journey, players will travel across Sengoku period Japan as they find themselves deep inside the Dark Realm of the Yokai. During gameplay, players will be able to improve their weapons using the Yokai Shift that increases their stats during the Yokai form. Players can also get help from other players to aid them in combat by interacting with their spirits. This will allow an online player to stay with you until the end of the level, or until they are defeated.
