Nintendo Switch Online Adding Game Boy, Game Boy Color and Game Boy Advance Games
At today’s Nintendo Direct, Nintendo announced that Game Boy, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy Advance titles will be coming to Nintendo Switch Online’s services, with classic titles from both platforms coming to the catalog.
While Game Boy titles will be available under a regular Nintendo Switch Online expansion, Game Boy Advance will require a Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pass subscription. All titles will support online and local play with friends, and Game Boy games will have a variety of filters to choose from.
The following titles will be coming to the service on release:
Game Boy:
- Tetris
- Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins
- Gargoyle’s Quest
- Metroid II: The Return of Samus
- Kirby’s Dream Land
Game Boy Color:
- The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening DX
- Alone in the Dark: The New Nightmare
- Game & Watch Gallery 3
- Wario Land 3
Game Boy Advance:
- Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3
- WarioWare Inc.: Mega Microgame$
- Kuru Kuru Kururin
- Mario Kart Super Circuit
- Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga
- The Legend of Zelda: Minish Cap
