Nintendo Reveals Indie World Showcase Streaming April 14

Nintendo announced they will host an Indie World Showcase on April 14, 2021, at 9:00 am PT.

Viewers can watch the event on the official Nintendo YouTube channel where they will air around 20 minutes of new indie games coming to the Nintendo Switch. This presentation focuses on the smaller teams of developers that often don’t have an easy time getting the spotlight in some of the larger streamed events.

In the past, Nintendo is known to pack the full runtime of the event with game reveals and gameplay deep dives. So expect more than five games highlighted and some surprises along the way. Each minute of this event will focus on a unique game from an indie developer.

On that note, this event won’t focus on larger third-party titles so don’t expect a Shin Megami Tensei game announcement or a new Nintendo-developed adventure. Still, these indie games are typically charming or dangerously challenging.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated on any announcement that comes out of the showcase, but please let us know if there are any titles you’re looking forward to in the comments below.

Tune in with us tomorrow as we will convert the events as they are announced and share them with readers.
