Nintendo Direct Scheduled for Tomorrow; 40-Minutes of Games Releasing This Winter

Nintendo announced the will stream a Nintendo Direct event on September 23, 2021, to share details on games releasing this winter.

This is labeled as an official Nintendo Direct and not an Indie Direct or a 3rd party showcase. This means that there will be Nintendo exclusives lined up, with Metroid Dread most likely being the main event, given that it releases on October 8. Further, there may be some Animal Crossing: New Horizons news, given that the holiday season is on the way.

The Nintendo Direct for September will air at 6 p.m. EDT/3 p.m. PDT. Nintendo of America has confirmed that the event will be “roughly 40 minutes” long. You can watch the event streaming on Nintendo’s YouTube and Twitch channels.

We’ll be sure to keep you updated on the event and the announcements as they are revealed.
