Ninja Gum Action Game ‘Ninjala’ Reemerges With New Switch Release Date and Trailer

GungHo Online Entertainment announced that their ninja gum action game that was previously revealed at E3 2018, Ninjala, will release on Nintendo Switch as a free download on the Nintendo eShop on May 28.

The publisher also mentioned that a Nintendo Switch Online subscription is not required to play matches online.

Ninjala is unlike anything we have ever created before,” said Kazuki Morishita, President & CEO of GOE. “How many other games let you battle your opponents with bubble gum while running up buildings as a colorful ninja? We believe Switch players will really connect with Ninjala’s compelling online PvP experience and become the ninja they always knew they could be!”

Ninjala is an online PvP game where players will assume the role of ninjas who can race around the city as they dual against opponents. Players choose from several playable characters to play in a few different modes. Players can enter an eight-player free-for-all or 4v4 team match.

The game also takes a vertical form as the characters are able to blow bubbles that allow them to run up the sides of buildings. In the game, players are able to craft new weapons and will battle for points and rank as they upgrade their Ninja Gum status during fights.
