Ninjala is a free-to-play online PvP game where players will assume the role of ninjas who can race around the city as they dual against opponents. Players choose from several playable characters to play in a few different modes. Players can enter an eight-player free-for-all or 4v4 team match.

Every 8 – 10 weeks, the developer will release seasonal updates. These updates will add or remove individual items along with implementing balances. Additionally, players can purchase a season pass that will give them access to a handful of customizable items early on.

The game also takes a vertical form as the characters can blow bubbles that allow them to run up the sides of buildings. In the game, players are able to craft new weapons and will battle for points and rank as they upgrade their Ninja Gum status during fights.
