Ninja Gum Action Game ‘Ninjala’ Delayed on Nintendo Switch for “Improvements”

GungHo Online Entertainment announced that their ninja gum action game that was previously revealed at E3 2018, Ninjala, will be delayed on Nintendo Switch until Spring 2020.

The delay has come in order for the developer to “make final improvements and polish the game for release.” Additionally, the publisher released a developer video from Executive Producer Kazuki Morishita to update fans on the status of the game. Morishita-san apologizes for the delay with an extended bow and wants players to know that the team is continuing work on the game that they believe will provide a “completely unique experience”. However, the team will use the extra time to improve the online experience and create a richer overall experience for players.

Ninjala is an online PvP game where players will assume the role of ninjas who can race around the city as they dual against opponents. The game also takes a vertical form as the characters are able to blow bubbles that allow them to run up the sides of buildings. In the game, players are able to craft new weapons and will battle for points and rank as they upgrade their Ninja Gum status during fights.
