Ninja Gaiden Master Collection on PC Doesn’t Have a Configuration Menu, But There’s a Workaround
Koei Tecmo is gearing up to launch Ninja Gaiden Master Collection for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC on June 10, 2021.
However, the PC release might leave a few gamers scratching their heads. It seems the developers have yet to implement a proper PC Configuration menu for the trilogy forcing players to utilize workarounds to access different resolutions.
For starters, options like Fullscreen can only be accomplished by maximizing the window or using the escape key to go back to windowed mode. Further, changing the output resolution can only be done from the game’s Properties from your Steam library:
You can set the output resolution for playing this game.
Note: The resolutions below are supported. 1280 x 720, 1920 x 1080, 3840 x 2160
To configure the resolution, open the game’s Properties from your Steam Library.By entering “720p”, “1080p”, or “4k” in the text field of “LAUNCH OPTIONS”, you can fix the resolution to the corresponding value. By setting the game to a low resolution, you can reduce the processing load.
Hopefully, a patch is added to the game for a proper configuration menu.
Ninja Gaiden Master Collection includes Ninja Gaiden Sigma, Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, and Ninja Gaiden 3 Razor’s Edge. The collection with bring the action games to a new generation of fans, but with added options such as dual-wielding weapons and Mission Mode for returning players.
The gameplay will support four difficulty levels, which aim to test the player’s strengths and skills as the different playable characters. Players will also utilize various degrees of tools in Ryu Hayabusa’s arsenal as he combats against a great evil.
