Ninja Action Game ‘Ninjala’ Will Receive Seasonal Updates Post-Launch With Premium Pass Available

GungHo Online Entertainment revealed more details about their ninja gum action game, Ninjala, coming to Nintendo Switch as a free-to-play game via the Nintendo eShop on May 28.

Ahead of the game’s open beta, taking place from April 28 through April 29. The developer provided more details on the gameplay loop, and customization players will be able to utilize during gameplay. As player play matches, they’ll collect Ninja Medals, which they can use to acquire Shinobi Cards. These cards are passive skills that can help players in battle. Additionally, there are Assist Codes that can be equipped to help players even further.

Every 8 – 10 weeks, the developer will release seasonal updates. These updates will add or remove individual items along with implementing balances. Additionally, players can purchase a season pass that will give them access to a handful of customizable items early on.

Ninjala is an online PvP game where players will assume the role of ninjas who can race around the city as they dual against opponents. Players choose from several playable characters to play in a few different modes. Players can enter an eight-player free-for-all or 4v4 team match.

The game also takes a vertical form as the characters can blow bubbles that allow them to run up the sides of buildings. In the game, players are able to craft new weapons and will battle for points and rank as they upgrade their Ninja Gum status during fights.
