Nine to Five is to be a Tactical Team-Based Shooter Made By Former Remedy and Wargaming Developers
Redhill Games, a studio founded by developers from Remedy Entertainment and Wargaming, revealed their first title, Nine to Five, in development for PC.
Nine to Five is set in the near-future where corporations rule everything, which kind of sounds like the present. Gameplay has players take on the role of a mercenary who must outsmart their opponents through tactical systems. Each match is three teams of three against each other as each plan out a strategy for victory.
“A lot of modern shooters are often too chaotic and random to really let you enjoy them. With Nine to Five, we’re challenging players with creative new mechanics to bring back that classic feeling of playing with friends, finding your role, and working together to outplay the competition,” said Redhill Games CEO Matias Myllyrinne.
Additionally, the developer released the first trailer for the game, which makes a mockery of the current trend of colorful based shooters. However, no gameplay is shown of the title so we are left to wonder how the game looks and plays it through its modes. Additionally, we are looking forward to any other game modes the developers will reveal in the future.
“At Redhill, we think everyone should be able to come away from a game feeling like they made meaningful progress each time they play. Even if you only have 15 minutes, Nine to Five promises you a great PvP experience made by people who love this genre,” said Myllyrinne.
Currently, you can register at the game’s website for a chance to get into the Alpha test launching in 2020.
