Level Infinite and SHIFT UP have announced the next major update for Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, titled Wave to You. The summer event launches on July 2 for PC and mobile devices via iOS and Android, adding new character variants, swimsuit costumes, a coastal story event, a new boss, and a beachside minigame.
Wave to You begins when the Commander receives an old photograph and a ticket to South Burst Island. Cinderella joins him on the trip, but the vacation soon shifts into an investigation as strange secrets tied to the island begin to surface. The event also introduces a new version of Land Eater, which has adapted into a massive island-sized enemy beneath the ocean.
The update adds two summer character variants. Cinderella: Crystal Wave arrives with a swimsuit prepared by Grave and includes a special standing pose interaction that reveals an alternate black swimsuit. Marciana: Marine Study visits the beach with Tia and Naga as part of what is framed as a graduation trip, though she suspects the outing may actually be a test. Her outfit pairs a revealing swimsuit with her familiar penguin costume.
Additional summer cosmetics include Little Mermaid: Shell Princess as a costume gacha reward. The design is themed around Spindrift, her liquid polymetal weapon that forms bubbles. The Summer Pass will also include Tia: Sea Lizzie and Naga: Ring Ensemble costumes.
Players can also try Island Breaker, a Puzzle Bobble-style minigame where they bounce a ball to clear beach debris and fight Raptures. Seashells earned in the mode can be used to upgrade attacks and improve combo rewards.
A new Summer Update trailer was released alongside the announcement. Level Infinite also confirmed that Goddess of Victory: NIKKE will appear at Anime Expo 2026 from July 2 through July 5 at the Los Angeles Convention Center. The booth will feature event activities, cosplay photo opportunities, and exclusive merchandise.
The team also released a brief teaser trailer confirming a future Persona collaboration for Goddess of Victory: NIKKE. No release date or further details were announced beyond the line, “A new collaboration is coming to GODDESS OF VICTORY: NIKKE.”
