UPDATED: NIKKE: Goddess of Victory Shares New Character Artwork Ahead of NieR:Automata Collab Next Week

Following the mobile gacha game NIKKE: Goddess of Victory announcing a collaboration with the Square Enix action JRPG NieR:Automata, some new artwork has been released.

2B and A2 will be pick-up recruitable characters for a limited time between September 1 and September 28, 2023, with it emphasized that they will not be obtainable after that latter date.

Additionally, Level Infinite and ShiftUp shared a preview of the event titled “OuteR;Automata:”

“A D-WAVE fluctuation has occurred at one of the factories on the surface. Together with the Counters squad, the Commander heads to the site to investigate, but gets unexpectedly bogged down. Saving them are robots from another world…”

NIKKE: Goddess of Victory is available now on iOS and Android devices and PC.

The game features third-person shooting systems. Players are able to control one of the characters as they take cover behind objects and shoot down giant robots. Similar to Project EVE, NIKKI is based in a post-apocalyptic world that has been overrun with robots from a different universe.

The game’s plot takes an unexpected twist when Nikke discovers that her own lineage is intertwined with the fate of Aetheria. She is seemingly guided by the wisdom of her celestial mentor and armed with an array of customizable weapons and spells. Nikke’s journey unfolds through themes of self-discovery, courage, and triumph. They’re also all really cute girls, so I’m sure that helps the overall adventure.
