In the midst of the currently ongoing Steam Summer Sale, Nihon Falcom’s catalog is currently discounted to varying degrees. The entirety of the Ys library on PC is currently on sale, for instance.

Ys VIII: Lacrimosa of Dana is currently 40% off for $23.99. This is one of the more well-known entries of the series as it boasts a remarkable narrative for the standards the Ys franchise has set, alongside environments that, while don’t vary in type, glow with natural majesty.

Ys: The Oath in Felghana is 70% off for $4.49. This title is a cult classic and one of the more beloved entries of the series. Being the second game in the Napishtim engine, the intricacies of this entry’s boss fights and battle mechanics are among the series’ best and demand involved player precision.

The Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky is 50% for $9.99 and is the first game of the entire Trails series. If you’ve been looking into trying out this legendary JRPG franchise, this title is where one begins.

An underrated Falcom game currently on sale on Steam is Zwei: The Ilvard Insurrection. This is the second title of the Zwei series but is still playable even if one has not played the first game.
