Many of developer Nihon Falcom’s titles are currently discounted as part of Humble Bundle’s Black Friday sale. These discounted titles range from the Trails in the Sky trilogy, Cold Steel entries, Ys games, and far more.
Zwei: The Arges Adventure is discounted to $8.99 and is the developer’s first entry of a lesser-known duology. This first title is beloved for its unconventional leveling system, unabashed sense of humor, and delightful art style. The second title, Zwei: The Ilvard Insurrection, is discounted to $9.99 and is an entry that is arguably more welcoming to modern audiences, alongside being an enjoyable standalone experience.
Tokyo Xanadu eX+ is discounted to $11.99. This title is a self-contained school-simulation and action dungeon crawler experience that utilizes several of Falcom’s prior titles for its gameplay base. While it’s not exactly a hit game for fans, it’s a steal for this price and is worth playing if you enjoy action JRPGs.
Ys IX: Monstrum Nox is discounted to $47.99. This title is set in the city of Balduq, which has been annexed by the Romun Empire. Thanks to Adol’s luck, he and his companion Dogi arrived, but the former was detained before even stepping inside. While imprisoned, he meets a woman named Aprilis, who turns him into a Monstrum, a being with supernatural gifts and the power to exorcise monsters.
