NieR Replicant Announces Choir Arrangement Album; March 2022 Release, Track Previews Available

Square Enix has announced that they will be releasing a choir arrangement album of their latest console title release of the NieR franchise, NieR Replicant. There are 10 tracks in this album, and the official Square Enix Japan website contains previews for each of the tracks as well as numerous store links. Priced at ¥3,300, this product is currently scheduled for a March 2, 2022 release.

Additionally, pre-ordering the album via Amazon Japan grants a mega jacket for the packaging, while pre-ordering via the Square Enix Japan store grants a cloth mini-poster on a first-come, first-serve basis.

UPDATE: The NieR Replicant Choir Arrangement Album is now available to pre-order from the North American Square Enix store.

NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139 is a remake of NieR Gestalt, which was released exclusively in Japan. The series is a spin-off of the Drakengard series but found fame after the release of NieR: Automata. Some say it was for the action systems others say it was for the attractive characters, but regardless, it’s a rather pretty game.

During gameplay, players will join a rather untraditional party of characters as they each fight against enemies known as Shades. The gameplay also allows players the chance to take on side missions and even fish. Voiced lines have been added to the game, with the same cast of voice actors.

The title also shipped over 1 million units this Summer, so congratulations to Yoko Taro and the rest of the development team for this noteworthy accomplishment.
