NieR Re[in]carnation Opens Pre-Registration in the West With New English Trailer

Square Enix has launched a new English trailer for the western release of NieR Re[in]carnation, a mobile adventure game for iOS and Android devices.

Players can pre-register for the game now in the west on iOS and Android. The Apple store has a release date of November 6, 2021, but this could just be a placeholder.

However, we aren’t sure of any bonuses received for registering early at this time. We can assume that players will begin with a few bonus items to get things gone, but we’ll keep a lookout for any new updates. [Edit] By reaching 300,000 pre-registrants, all players will receive 3,000 gems upon the game’s release, allowing them to complete one 10x Summon for free.

Further, the publisher released a new English trailer giving a preview of the English voice-over recorded for the game. You also get to see some of the battle systems and environments.

NieR Re[in]carnation introduces a girl who wakes up in a mysterious place. Guided only by a creature known as “Mama,” the girl sets out to get back what was lost and atone for her sins. Inside what is known as the Cage, she will find her answers.

During gameplay, players will battle monsters using a command screen. There’s equipment that can be found and customized across your party with an auto-mode option that attacks enemies. The game is aimed to be easy to play, even for those who are not good at games.

There will be in-app purchases, but we aren’t sure if this will be tied to story progression, party members, or equipment. Players can explore different environments on a 2D screen as the party journeys across the lands throughout the narrative.
