NieR Re[in]carnation Achieves Over 1 Million Downloads

The official English account for NieR Re[in]carnation has announced that the recently released mobile title has achieved an impressive feat of over 1 million downloads only roughly 3 days after its launch. Additionally, to celebrate the accolade of over 1 million downloads, every player will be gifted 1,000 gems.

Congratulations to Square Enix for this early success, and we hope to see this mobile RPG continue its reign of prevalence amongst the NieR community. Personally, while I do not enjoy gacha titles in the slightest, the fact that NieR Re[in]carnation manages to retain the quintessential NieR charm has me looking past its more questionable gameplay features. I believe the delays have proven to be ultimately fruitful, too, as performance has been stellar on my end, and the quality of the English voice acting is superb. Mobile games for beloved IPs deserve the level of detail, love, and attention that NieR Re[in]carnation has clearly received.

NieR Re[in]carnation introduces a girl who wakes up in a mysterious place. Guided only by a creature known as “Mama,” the girl sets out to get back what was lost and atone for her sins. Inside what is known as the Cage, she will find her answers.

During gameplay, players will battle monsters using a command screen. In addition, there’s equipment that can be found and customized across your party with an auto-mode option that attacks enemies. The game is aimed to be easy to play, even for those who are not good at games.
