The official Japanese Twitter account for the NieR Re[in]carnation, the latest entry in the NieR franchise coupling as a mobile-gacha experience, has announced that the title has achieved over 15 million downloads worldwide.

The mobile game received its western release earlier this year, back in late July, and is currently being supported strongly with an active Twitter account and official Discord server. Congratulations to Square Enix and the development team for reaching this noteworthy milestone.

NieR Re[in]carnation introduces a girl who wakes up in a mysterious place. Guided only by a creature known as “Mama,” the girl sets out to get back what was lost and atone for her sins. Inside what is known as the Cage, she will find her answers.

During gameplay, players will battle monsters using a command screen. In addition, there’s equipment that can be found and customized across your party with an auto-mode option that attacks enemies. The game is aimed to be easy to play, even for those who are not good at games.
