NieR:Automata The End of YoRHa Edition Shows Off 2B Gameplay on Switch; Looks Better Than We Thought

Square Enix released a new gameplay trailer for NieR:Automata The End of YoRHa Edition, coming to Nintendo Switch on October 6, 2022.

The trailer highlights 2B, the main protagonist of the adventure. Further, viewers get the chance to see the game running on Switch hardware. It looks a lot better than we assumed, given the limited performance of the console hybrid, leaving us rather impressed. The trailer also highlights some of the costumes that 2B will be able to wear.

The game will have a physical release with a reversible cover, and it is not a Cloud version. It will include all existing DLC and new NieR Replicant & Re[in]carnation costumes. Additionally, the game has now sold over 6.5 million units worldwide.

NieR:Automata was released in 2017 on PlayStation 4 and PC, with an Xbox One release in 2018. The game follows characters by the name of 2B and 9S, in which players will experience different moments of the game. In a fusion between action, exploration, and shmup elements, the game is highly popularized for its storytelling and characters.
