NieR:Automata 6th Anniversary Shares Guitar Cover of “Pascal”

The official Square Enix Music YouTube Channel has posted a guitar cover of “Pascal” from NieR:Automata for the game’s sixth anniversary. Initially composed by Keiichi Okabe, Takanori Goto arranged and performed this showing of the track. This performance was clipped from the official NieR:Automata sixth anniversary broadcast.

A guitar cover of “City Ruins” was also recently clipped for NieR:Automata’s sixth anniversary.

NieR:Automata was initially released in 2017 on PlayStation 4 and PC, with an Xbox One release in 2018. The game follows characters named 2B and 9S, who are agents of Yorha, an organization tasked with various combative and information-gathering missions. This entry became highly popularized for its storytelling and characters in a fusion of action, exploration, and shmup elements.
