Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl Announced for Consoles with Fall 2021 Release, PC Teased; Rollback Netcode Seemingly Confirmed
An unexpected new fighting game, Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl, is joining the ever-diverse array of available competitive titles. This fighter includes various Nickelodeon characters from hit television shows such as SpongeBob SquarePants, Invader Zim, Hey Arnold!, and several more.
There will be a total of 20-themed levels which will all feature iconic environments from the aforementioned shows like Jellyfish Fields from the SpongeBob SquarePants television show. Single-player and multiplayer modes will be available alongside online and local multiplayer with up to 4 players.
There has also been additional information from a developer on the Ludosity Discord, one of the teams working on this title. According to the developer, the title will have rollback netcode on supported platforms, which is simultaneously thrilling and humorous. Additionally, another statement by the same developer was provided, stating that “PC is the lead version” despite the trailer not mentioning PC as a platform of release.
The newly revealed trailer is quite hectic and action-packed, with slews of characters confirmed as playable, like Helga, Zim, and Nigel Thornberry. However, a tweet from the official GameMill Entertainment Twitter account, another team working on this title, has stated that more characters have yet to be revealed.
