New Nickelodeon All–Star Brawl 2 Trailer Introduces Azula from Avatar: The Last Airbender

Developers Ludosity and Fair Play Labs, and publisher GameMill Entertainment, have shared a new character trailer for their upcoming 2D fighting game Nickelodeon All–Star Brawl 2, introducing Azula from Avatar: The Last Airbender.

The video briefly showcases the collective character’s general moveset, unique properties, and more, with some helpful commentary for greater insight.

The first title, and likely this one, boasts rollback netcode for increased responsiveness for all involved players. Further, the intricacy of the cast’s movesets is not to be underestimated, with the game’s lightning fast-paced requiring intense skill from those serious about being competitive.

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl was somewhat well-received by the community as a platform fighter, including many characters from hit Nickelodeon shows from across the entire network’s time. The game previously added voice acting for characters and items in a free update.

Still, its relevancy waned quickly, so this direct follow-up has the potential to improve upon the original’s shortcomings and deliver a far more substantial experience that will satisfy fans in the long term.

Aside from gameplay improvements, this sequel will boast a new single-player campaign, trying to stop “Danny Phantom archvillain Vlad Plasmius from taking over the Nickelodeon universe,” which has roguelike elements.

The game is planned for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox, and PC via Steam, with wishlisting now available on the lattermost platform. Additionally, digital pre-orders for other platforms will start availability in October 2023.

Nickelodeon All–Star Brawl 2 will launch on November 3, 2023.
